Each class is designed for the age of the students, and their level of experience in the art form. DDC&G offers each art form in a non-competitive atmosphere where every student is celebrated!

Acro Dance, short for acrobatic dance, is about flexibility and control. This technique is a popular choice for students bridging the gap between skills in the gym and the dance studio! The class focuses on leg extensions, partnering tricks and holds on the floor including headstands, elbow stands, and chest stands.

Adaptive classes and integrated classrooms will provide your child with the opportunity to explore the world of dance and gymnastics while also developing important cognitive, physical, and social skills. Ballet Dance Classes Dublin Ohio

BALLET

Ballet uses precise movements to tell a story, requiring determination, focus, and a great pair of shoes. Classes build coordination, discipline, and artistic appreciation, with segments including barre work, port de bras, centre barre, adagio, and allegro. Strength and flexibility exercises create well-rounded dancers.

*Male dancers (ages 5–adult) can take ballet for free if enrolled in another class (any art form). Those in Placement Ballet levels receive a 50% tuition discount.

These special student groups offer dancers and gymnasts an extra chance to perform! They also offer preparation for college and professional company work. Student companies meet weekly for choreography and perform in annual shows as well as artist-in-the-schools programs and community events. Each program has specific class and level requirements. Tap is performed in shoes of the same name, tap shoes! While tap sounds are made primarily with the feet, tap dance involves the whole body; movements of the arms, legs, and body are incorporated with the tap steps. In tap classes, the exercises and combinations directly develop a sense of coordination, body control, the rhythmic sense and detailed development of the feet.
