Yoga is a balance and conditioning of the body, mind, and spirit. It is an exercise that can be done by anyone at any age or level of physical condition. It builds strength, flexibility, improves circulation, lowers blood pressure, and reduces psychological stress. Students provide their own sticky mat.
Inspire a love of exercise and fitness with this upbeat cardio class. Classes will incorporate training and strengthening exercises used to build endurance and enhance flexibility. Taught in the studio #8/9 gym, these classes will utilize gym equipment solely for workout purposes.
Barre Fit is a fittness class with a dance flair. Each class incorporates the fundamentals of ballet barre, yoga, and the fast pace of a fitness class. Ballet and yoga technique builds a strong foundation of coordination, flexibility and stability. Classes are balanced between strengthening and stretching exercises. Class ends with meditation and a gratitude sendoff. Movement has been proven to reduce stress and anxiety as well improve your overall mood. All levels welcome, no dance training necessary.
